Junior Accountant for the Payroll Department

We are seeking a Junior Accountant to join our Payroll Department.

Responsibilities

• Calculate vacation pay, sick leave, alimony, and final settlements upon termination
• Prepare certificates and references
• Verify incoming data used for payroll calculation
• Handle large volumes of information
• Carry out other operational duties

Requirements

• A higher education degree in Economics, Finance, or Accounting and Auditing
• Between 1 and 3 years of experience working as a payroll accountant
• Proven experience calculating payroll for companies with more than 300 employees
• Strong PC skills, including Microsoft Office
• Familiarity with 1C ZUP, 1C 8 UTP, Excel, Client-Bank, and Outlook
• Understanding of Ukrainian legislation related to payroll accounting, calculation, and processing within enterprises
• A hybrid work arrangement consisting of 2 days per week at the Kyiv office and 3 days working remotely

• Capacity to manage large volumes of information in a multitasking setting

Nice to have

• Previous experience in international companies
• Basic English skills at the Pre-Intermediate level
