Java Developer
We are looking for a skilled Java Developer with strong expertise in modern Java technologies and microservices architecture. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Java (8/11/17+), Spring or Vert.x frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes.
You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable microservices in an Agile environment while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Essential functions
- Design, develop, test, and deploy high-performance Java-based applications.
- Build and maintain microservices using Spring or Vert.x frameworks.
- Develop RESTful APIs using HTTP, JSON, and XML.
- Implement containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using Git, Maven/Gradle, and Jenkins.
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and architecture decisions.
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.
- Perform unit testing using JUnit/TestNG and ensure code quality.
- Work with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
- Collaborate with DevOps and partner teams for deployments and releases.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
- Follow Agile methodologies and iterative development processes.
Qualifications
- Experience Level: 5 to 7 Years
- Strong hands-on experience with Java 8/11/17 or higher.
- Hands-on experience with Spring or Vert.x frameworks.
- Experience building Microservices architecture.
- Strong knowledge of HTTP, REST, JSON, and XML.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins (CI/CD pipelines).
- Experience using IDEs such as Eclipse or IntelliJ.
- Good understanding of software design principles and OOP.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
Would be a plus
- Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.) or NoSQL databases (MongoDB, etc.).
- Experience with distributed cache (e.g., Redis).
- Experience with messaging systems (Kafka, IBM MQ).
- Automation testing experience using JUnit/TestNG.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Experience in financial services or payments domain.
- Experience in product-based development environments.
- Ability to independently interact with cross-functional teams.
