Integration Architect

We are seeking an experienced Integration Architect to design and govern our corporate integration ecosystem, define technical standards, and guide development teams in building secure, scalable, and well-architected API and microservices solutions.

Responsibilities

Design and document corporate end-to-end (E2E) integration architecture
Define technical standards, best practices, and guidelines for API and microservices development
Lead the selection of integration tools and platforms, including iPaaS, API Gateways, and messaging systems
Manage the entire API lifecycle, including design, security, versioning, and deprecation, to ensure strong governance
Support development teams and partners in resolving complex architectural issues
Apply robust authentication and authorization protocols, such as OAuth2 and mTLS, to secure data in transit
Promote integration observability by defining monitoring metrics, logs, and alerts
Guide and elevate the technical proficiency of developers through mentoring
Negotiate and resolve technical conflicts between squads

Requirements

2+ years of experience in integration architecture for complex systems
Proficiency in architectural styles and protocols such as REST APIs, SOAP, GraphQL, gRPC, and Webhooks
Experience with asynchronous communication and Event-Driven Architecture (EDA) using messaging systems such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, and SQS/SNS
Knowledge of API Gateways and iPaaS platforms such as MuleSoft, Kong, and Apigee, AWS API Gateway, and WebMethods
Experience in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
Understanding of Enterprise Integration Patterns (EIP) and data modeling using JSON and XML
Familiarity with CI/CD practices applied to integration components
Systems-thinking and analytical mindset to understand technical impacts on the business
Excellent communication skills to translate complex technical terms for business stakeholders and leadership
