Game Economy Designer (f/m/d)We are looking for a Game Economy Designer to join the Idle Bank Tycoon team and help us take the game to its next big milestones. You’ll work closely with the team to shape the game’s economy, build models for new features, design challenges and promotions based on player behaviour and segmentation, and ensure a healthy balance across inflation, progression, and in-game systems.
In this role, you’ll thrive in an agile, fast-moving environment, using player data, community insights, and your solid F2P expertise to identify future features and deepen our understanding of what motivates our players.
Based in our Berlin office, you’ll collaborate daily with a passionate and skilled team dedicated to pushing the quality bar for idle games even higher.
Responsibilities
Design and implement game features, monetization, and economies systems that are both fulfilling the player’s needs and are sustainable;Design and iterate on player progression and game balance to deliver an optimal player experience and to ensure economic health over time;Collaborate closely with game designers, artists, and developers to ensure balancing and economic considerations are integrated seamlessly into all aspects of game development;Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation and spreadsheets models to track and manage economic systems effectively;Develop systems to prevent exploits, inflation, or imbalances caused by unexpected player behavior;Leverage data (KPIs), player feedback, and segmentation to refine game balance and optimize features;Stay updated on modern mobile F2P market trends and incorporate relevant insights to improve the game.
