Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager

Your Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning & Forecasting

• Lead the annual budgeting process, monthly and quarterly forecasts.
• Build and maintain financial forecasting models for each game, incorporating key drivers such as player acquisition, retention, and monetization.
• Maintain rolling forecasts and update financial projections as performance data evolves.
• Conduct variance analysis and provide explanations for differences between actual results and forecasts.

Game-Level Financial Modeling

• Develop and maintain LTV forecasting models based on player habits, retention curves, and monetization data.
• Produce weekly LTV and ROAS projections to support marketing and UA decision-making.
• Track and analyze core mobile gaming KPIs including:
  • ARPDAU
  • ARPU
  • Retention metrics
  • Player cohorts
  • Revenue performance by game
• Work with UA and product teams to assess the profitability and scalability of marketing campaigns.

Business Performance Analysis

• Provide financial insights on game performance, player behavior, and monetization trends.
• Develop reporting and dashboards to monitor key financial and operational metrics.
• Translate complex financial data into clear insights for leadership and operational teams.

FP&A Function Development

• Establish the FP&A function and financial planning processes within the company.
• Design scalable forecasting frameworks and financial reporting structures.
• Implement tools, models, and workflows that support data-driven financial planning and performance monitoring.
• Continuously improve forecasting accuracy and reporting efficiency.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner closely with product managers, UA teams, data analysts, and leadership.
• Align financial forecasts with product roadmaps, game updates, and marketing strategies.
• Support decision-making with timely financial insights and performance analysis.

A Successful Candidate Must Have:

• 5+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or analytical finance roles.
• Experience in mobile gaming, gaming, mobile apps, or digital entertainment strongly preferred.
• Strong experience building financial models and forecasting frameworks.
• Deep understanding of mobile gaming unit economics (LTV, ROAS, CAC) strongly preferred.
• Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills.
• Experience working with large datasets and BI tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to communicate insights clearly.

Extra Great to Have:

• Experience with free-to-play (F2P) gaming models.
• Familiarity with game analytics metrics (DAU, MAU, ARPDAU, retention curves).
• Experience collaborating closely with user acquisition and product teams.
• Basic SQL or experience working with data warehouses.

Salary: From 3310 EUR/month gross
