As part of our Development Team, you will contribute to the code behind world-class games like Cooking Fever, Pocket Styler, Airplane Chefs, and new titles currently in development.
You will work with a strong technical lead to establish and maintain high technical standards across gameplay systems, code quality, architecture, and mobile performance. Your work will directly shape the rxperience of millions of players around the world.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in sprint planning, roadmap discussions, technical scoping, and delivery planning;
- Develop, maintain, and improve high-quality gameplay code in Unity and C#;
- Optimize and refactor mobile game code with a focus on frame rate, memory usage, stability, loading times, and maintainability;
- Improve memory management, asset loading, runtime performance, and build efficiency;
- Take part in and organize code reviews and help maintain clear engineering standards across the team;
- Mentor mid-level developers through code review, technical guidance, and knowledge sharing;
- Design and implement gameplay systems, development tools, and technical solutions;
- Collaborate closely with programmers, game designers, artists, QA, and product stakeholders.
A Successful Candidate Must Have:
- Extensive professional Unity and C# game development experience;
- Mobile profiling and optimization experience on Android and/or iOS;
- Practical experience improving memory management, asset loading, loading times, and runtime stability;
- Solid understanding of gameplay programming, game architecture, and maintainable code design;
- Experience maintaining and refactoring mature codebases while improving performance and technical health;
- Good knowledge of profiling, debugging;
- Good English language skills.
Extra Great to Have:
- Passion for video games;
- Knowledge of other programming languages and game engines;
- Proven commercial game development experience, preferably on live mobile games.
Salary: From 4460 EUR/month (gross), based on experience and competence.
