Feature Game Designer (OneState)

What we want to see:

• 2+ years of experience in Game Design / System Design.
• Experience owning features from concept through post-release support.
• Experience working with metrics: funnels, dashboards, analytics requests, and post-release insights.
• Ability to design UX flows and create interface wireframes.
• Strong understanding of midcore and hardcore mobile F2P games, with a high degree of autonomy.
• Ability to identify player and product pain points, propose initiatives, and own them end-to-end — from hypothesis to measuring impact.

Additionally, it would be great to have:

• Ability to define and describe the player experience (UX) and create corresponding interface layouts (UI);
• Hands-on experience with RP projects, GTA-like games, social games, or MMOs;
• Experience working with Unity and online games.

What you will be doing:

• Designing the FTUE: onboarding, first sessions, early goals, and new-player motivation.
• Identifying drop-off points in the funnel and addressing them with hypotheses. You’ll see the impact in D1 and retention — not six months later.
• Owning features from concept through live operation: GDDs, UX wireframes, timelines, and quality control.
• Iterating based on analytics, player feedback, and UX testing, as well as analyzing onboarding experiences in other games.
