We are seeking an experienced Event Producer to join our passionate team.
Responsibilities
Event Experience Design
- Design events that are engaging, creative, and memorable.
- Develop themes, concepts, and event narratives
- Design attendee journeys and experiences
- Create interactive activities and engagement mechanics
- Generate new ideas and event formats
- Continuously improve event quality and creativity
- Bring fresh inspiration from industry trends and best practices
- The Event Producer is expected to contribute ideas, not only execute them.
Creative Collaboration
- Act as a thought partner to the Event Manager.
- Brainstorm new event concepts
- Partner with the Event Manager to bring events from concept to reality
- Develop unique experiences and activations
- Recommend innovative formats and technologies
- Challenge conventional approaches and propose improvements
- Help evolve Mayflower’s event culture and traditions
Vendor & Partner Management
- Build relationships that elevate event quality.
- Source venues and partners
- Manage suppliers and contractors
- Coordinate entertainment and production partners
- Identify creative collaborators and new opportunities
- Negotiate and manage external services
Event Communications & Engagement
- Partner with Internal Communications and Employer Brand to maximize participation and excitement.
- Contribute to event branding and messaging
- Support promotional campaigns
- Create moments worth sharing
- Help build anticipation before events
- Enhance attendee engagement before, during, and after events
Continuous Innovation
- Continuously raise the bar for employee events.
- Monitor event trends and emerging formats
- Bring new ideas from conferences, festivals, and leading employers
- Experiment with new experiences
- Introduce improvements based on feedback and observations
You’ll thrive here if you have
- 5+ years of experience in event production, experiential marketing, employee engagement, or a related field.
- Strong creative thinking and a passion for designing engaging, memorable experiences.
- Proven ability to turn ideas into well-executed events, balancing creativity with operational excellence.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working cross-functionally and influencing without authority.
- Experience managing vendors, venues, suppliers, and external partners.
- Curiosity about event trends, emerging formats, and new technologies, with a desire to continuously improve and innovate.
