Engagement Lead/Cost Modeling Lead

Responsibilities

• Engagement leadership: stakeholder management, delivery planning, risks/assumptions, governance
• Cost modeling for cloud/HPC (TCO/run-rate, scenario comparisons, cost drivers for compute/storage/data movement/networking/licensing)
• Ability to translate architecture into estimates and a delivery plan aligned to the milestones (Apr design -> Jun UI/IaC -> Jul/Aug migration)

Requirements

• Experience in supporting production RHEL-like Linux servers and applications , general knowledge of common open-source applications, such as NGINX, PostgreSQL, MariaDB, and Git 
• General understanding of networking 
• Good understanding of cloud compute principles and cloud managed services, primarily for AWS  
• General understanding of cloud observability tools, cloud cost optimization and FinOps

Nice to have

• Pre-sales / RFI/RFP experience in enterprise settings
• Life-sciences / regulated environment experience
