Data Software Engineering Manager

We are seeking a Data Software Engineering Manager to shape data system architecture and benchmarking while guiding end-to-end data preparation. You will stay hands-on with implementation, using ClickHouse as the core focus while running realistic workloads and analyzing outcomes to turn numbers into clear stakeholder takeaways.

Responsibilities

• Define system architecture and set the benchmarking approach for data platforms
• Coordinate the team through data preparation and data generation workflows
• Build hands-on solutions and contribute directly to development and implementation
• Apply deep expertise in ClickHouse as the primary technical focus area
• Execute realistic workloads to assess and compare system performance
• Drive analysis of benchmark outcomes and performance findings
• Translate raw metrics and data into clear, actionable conclusions for stakeholders
• Mentor and lead team members on technical best practices and quality standards

Requirements

• Proven track record with 8+ years of experience in Data Software Engineering
• Hands-on experience with ClickHouse, Google Cloud Platform, and Python
• Deep understanding of performance tuning and data analysis for data systems
• Practical proficiency in Gen AI Assisted Development
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams and steer architectural decisions
• Solid background in benchmarking practices and workload analysis for data systems
• Advanced proficiency in English (C1+)

Nice to have

• Familiarity with StarRocks and MySQL
• Knowledge of BigQuery
• Understanding of Kubernetes and Prometheus
