Data Delivery Manager
As a Data Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for leading data platform implementation projects, ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions that meet client requirements. You will work closely with clients, account management and stakeholders, and technical teams to ensure project success.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage data platform implementation projects from pre-sales to completion
- Coordinate with clients to gather requirements and define project scope
- Develop project plans, schedules, resource plans and budgets
- Monitor project progress against defind KPIs and metrics
- Manage project's issues or risks
- Ensure adherence to best practices and standards in data management and delivery
- Collaborate with technical teams to design and implement scalable data solutions
- Conduct regular project reviews and provide status updates to stakeholders
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project team members
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum 10 years of IT experience, with at least 5+ years in lead roles such as Delivery Manager or Project Manager
- Strong knowledge of data platforms, data warehousing, and data lakes
- Hands-on experience with cloud data services (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Excellent project management skills, including planning, execution, and risk management
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus
- Professional managerial certifications: PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, SAFe
- Strong experience in the Fixed-fee contract typed projects
- Technical certifications: Databricks, CDMP, etc.
- Strong technical background in the area of data engineering, modeling or architecture is a plus
- Deep expertise in one of the business areas applications of the Data Platforms (OSDU, CDP, IDP, etc.)
