Data Analyst

We are seeking a Data Analyst to design analytical solutions, develop reporting frameworks, and translate business needs into actionable insights that support data-driven decision-making within the organization.

Note: Hybrid work model in Quito. Availability to attend the office a minimum of three (3) days per week is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct functional analysis and gather requirements for the design of reporting solutions, including variables, calculated variables, metrics, visuals, and prototypes
• Structure, design, and generate reports aligned with business needs analysis
• Analyze large volumes of data and deliver clear, actionable insights
• Develop visualization and communication frameworks to present insights effectively
• Provide user support in building visual solutions
• Produce documentation for data solutions according to the standards, platforms, and tools provided by the Bank
• Translate functional requirements into technical processes required by the chapters
• Resolve roadblocks and dependencies proactively
• Support conflict resolution and negotiation processes across teams

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of experience in descriptive data analysis, business intelligence, and analytical solution design
• Skills in data collection, integration, and generation of analytical solutions such as reports, dashboards, and simple statistical models
• Knowledge of processing large volumes of data to identify opportunities, insights, and actionable steps for decision-making
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
• Knowledge of basic descriptive statistics
• Power BI certification with advanced knowledge of reports, data flows, and DAX
• Python certification with advanced knowledge of data manipulation, visualization, EDA, and processing
• SQL certification with advanced knowledge of data structuring, stored procedures, and ETL processes
• Understanding of good development practices and principles such as Clean Code
• Familiarity with relational and non-relational database engines such as SQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB
• Familiarity with ETL tools for on-premises environments such as SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and Pentaho
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI, QlikView, and version control tools
• Strong soft skills including leadership, goal orientation, organization, critical analysis, teamwork, effective communication, responsibility, and planning
