We are looking for a Customer Demand Specialist to join our Customer Demand Generation organization in Bucharest, supporting enterprise customers across Europe & META.
In this role, you will help generating qualified sales opportunities for the customer Solutions & Services portfolio while collaborating closely with the Devices and Infrastructure teams to identify cross-portfolio opportunities.
You'll engage customers through outbound prospecting, strategic marketing campaigns, and major events, helping them discover Lenovo solutions that address their business needs.
Working closely with Local Sales, Marketing, Technical Specialists, and regional stakeholders, you will play an important role in accelerating pipeline growth while delivering an outstanding customer experience.
Responsibilities
- What You'll Do
Generate Qualified Demand
- Identify, engage, and nurture enterprise prospects across Europe & META through outbound outreach, digital campaigns, strategic events, and opportunity mining.
- Generate qualified sales pipeline for Lenovo's Solutions & Services portfolio, including:
o Managed Services
o Technical Account Management (TAM)
o Proactive & Advanced Support
o Consulting Services
o TruScale and As-a-Service solutions
- Collaborate with Country Sales teams to identify strategic target accounts and prioritize high-value opportunities.
- Conduct meaningful customer conversations to understand business challenges and identify opportunities where Lenovo solutions can create value.
- Focus on delivering high-quality opportunities that convert into pipeline rather than maximizing lead volume.

Qualify Opportunities
- Qualify customer opportunities using structured discovery methodologies such as BANT alongside solution-fit and business requirements.
- Schedule high-quality meetings between customers and Lenovo Sales teams.
- Ensure timely and accurate Sales Accepted Lead (SAL) handovers.
- Maintain excellent CRM discipline by ensuring complete, accurate, and up-to-date information within Microsoft Dynamics.
- Support consistent lead follow-up and SLA compliance.

Support Marketing & Event Demand Generation
- Collaborate with Local Marketing and EHQ Marketing teams to maximize campaign effectiveness.
- Support pre-event targeting activities and post-event lead qualification.
- Ensure rapid follow-up of event-generated opportunities to maximize pipeline conversion.
- Provide structured feedback on campaign performance, customer messaging, and lead quality to improve future demand generation initiatives.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of Lenovo's event-to-pipeline operating model.

Collaborate Across One Lenovo
- Build trusted working relationships with colleagues across SSG, ISG, and IDG.
- Partner closely with Sales, Technical Specialists, Segment Leaders, Marketing, and Global Event teams.
- Share customer insights, market intelligence, and best practices across the organization.
- Support cross-portfolio initiatives that strengthen Lenovo's One Lenovo strategy.

Drive Continuous Improvement
- Monitor pipeline progression and conversion performance.
- Identify trends impacting lead quality and campaign effectiveness.
- Recommend improvements to qualification processes, customer engagement, and pipeline generation activities.
- Maintain high standards of CRM quality and operational excellence.
- Leverage AI-enabled tools and CRM capabilities to improve prospect prioritization, customer engagement, and productivity wherever appropriate.

SKILLS
Must have
- Native or fluent German
- Fluent English
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 3+ years of experience in Business Development, Inside Sales, Customer Engagement, Demand Generation, or a similar customer-facing role
- Comfortable engaging customers through outbound prospecting and phone conversations
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Experience using CRM platforms (Microsoft Dynamics preferred)
- Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving skills
- Proactive, curious, and eager to learn
