We’re looking for a Creative Technical Artist to own the technical preparation layer of our playable ads and motion creatives, making our production faster, cleaner, and more scalable across the entire portfolio.
- Prepare and optimize 2D assets for creative production in Cocos Creator: clean, slice, export, adapt, set up transparency and masks, optimize file weight, and prepare atlases or sprites when needed; ensure correct sizes, proportions, pivots, and anchor points;
- Prepare and adapt 3D assets for Cocos Creator and Unity: check and fix scale, pivot, orientation, normals, UVs, textures, materials, and export formats; simplify and optimize models when needed for mobile and WebGL use cases;
- Import, structure, and set up assets, scenes, prefabs, sprites, and basic environment elements inside Cocos Creator so playable developers can continue directly with mechanics and logic;
- Work with Git repositories for creative production: create and maintain branches, organize project structure, move and update assets, follow naming conventions, and resolve basic issues such as missing files or simple conflicts;
- Support the Motion team in Unity by preparing branches, scenes, cameras, assets, materials, and basic environments for new creative tasks and production workflows;
- Identify and fix typical technical asset issues such as broken links, missing textures, incorrect import settings, heavy files, wrong formats, and inconsistent project structure before production starts;
- Use AI tools actively across the workflow to speed up technical preparation, asset cleanup, optimization, and production support wherever it improves the final result;
- Help standardize the creative production pipeline by keeping files clean, reusable, and easy to hand over, and by leaving short, clear technical comments for teammates;
- Collaborate closely with Creative Producers, Playable makers, and Motion designers to make the production process faster, cleaner, and less chaotic.
- Experience working with Cocos Creator in a hands-on way: importing and setting up assets, materials, prefabs, and scenes directly in the engine;
- Hands-on experience with Unity on the asset preparation side: scenes, materials, prefabs, branches, and technical setup for creative or game production;
- Solid understanding of preparing 2D and 3D assets for real-time engines, including optimization for mobile and WebGL environments;
- Working knowledge of Git: branches, commits, pull/push, and handling basic conflicts;
- Practical experience with 2D tools such as Photoshop, Figma, Illustrator, or similar, and 3D tools such as Blender, Maya, Cinema 4D, or similar;
- Strong attention to detail in file structure, naming, technical cleanup, and working inside unfamiliar or messy projects;
- Comfort working at the intersection of art, development, motion design, and production; ability to understand what needs to be prepared and hand over a clear, usable result;
- Proactive use of AI in day-to-day work; the more effectively AI is integrated into the workflow, the better;
- Ability to work independently after onboarding, communicate clearly with both creative and technical stakeholders, and focus on making the team move faster rather than adding extra complexity.
Nice to have:
- Experience with playable ads, HTML5/WebGL creatives, or mobile advertising production pipelines;
- Experience as a level designer or in adjacent technical-art / creative-production roles;
- Basic understanding of TypeScript/JavaScript and/or C# for Unity;
- Experience with Spine animations, draw call optimization, texture optimization, and build size reduction;
- Experience preparing assets for mobile games and working with ad formats such as playable ads, banners, video ads, or similar creative formats.
- The opportunity to work on games played by millions of players;
- Implement your bold ideas;
- Paid vacation;
- Support for professional development (training, coaching, and more);
- Opportunity to grow and develop with the company;
- Supportive and warm working atmosphere within the team.
