Core Game Designer (Modern Warships)

Your key responsibilities:

• Develop and refine core gameplay systems: controls, combat mechanics, weapon and ship balance.
• Design the main gameplay loop: 5v5 battles, tactical roles, combat rhythm.
• Balance unit and weapon parameters: speed, damage, armor, abilities.
• Create mechanics for increasing battle complexity and unlocking new tactical options.
• Prepare design documentation, diagrams, and combat scenario flows.
• Analyze battle metrics and player behavior together with analysts.
• Collaborate closely with game designers, programmers, artists, and UX specialists.

Our candidate should have:

• 3+ years of experience as a game designer with focus on core gameplay and balance.
• Knowledge of PvP midcore/F2P projects: shooters, action games, strategies.
• Confident experience with Unity Editor, JSON, Google Sheets;
• Ability to think systemically and see the full battle cycle — from match start to endgame.
• Understanding of player behavior patterns in combat: motivation, engagement, teamwork.
• Skills in documentation, diagrams, state logic, and combat scenarios.
• Experience working with analytics and using data to balance core mechanics.
• Self‑organization and ability to deliver features to completion.
• Willingness to discuss solutions, accept feedback, and iterate.
