We are seeking a Chief Cloud Migration and Infrastructure Engineer to set the vision and provide executive technical leadership for infrastructure integration across M&A programs. In this role, you will own enterprise-wide integration outcomes, shape architectural direction and partner with senior leadership to deliver seamless Day 1 readiness, post-close execution and sustained operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Champion infrastructure integration programs end-to-end, overseeing Day 1 readiness, post-close delivery and steady-state transition at enterprise scale
- Establish the overarching integration strategy, roadmap and executive-level milestones, incorporating TSA frameworks, cutover sequencing and rollback safeguards
- Govern technical discovery and current-state assessments, setting the target-state architecture and defining the integration blueprint
- Provide architectural oversight across network and connectivity (WAN/LAN, VPN, DNS/DHCP, firewalls, segmentation), identity and access (AD/Azure AD/Entra, SSO/MFA, IAM, privileged access) and messaging and collaboration platforms (Microsoft 365/Google Workspace migrations)
- Set technical direction for endpoint and device management (Intune/SCCM/MDM, patching, encryption), server and cloud platforms (Windows/Linux, virtualization, AWS/Azure/GCP) and ITSM and monitoring stacks (ServiceNow, CMDB, logging/observability)
- Embed security, compliance and risk principles into integration delivery, addressing data protection, access controls and audit readiness
- Cultivate strategic relationships with application, security, workplace and business leaders while governing vendor and MSP engagements
- Present progress, risks and issues to executive stakeholders and steering committees with clear, decision-oriented reporting
- Shape integration budgets, resource models and long-range capacity planning across multiple programs
- Establish operational handover frameworks ensuring documentation, runbooks and knowledge transfer meet enterprise standards
- Mentor senior engineers and integration leads, building organizational capability for future M&A activity
Requirements
- 7+ years in IT infrastructure roles, with extensive leadership of complex multi-domain enterprise initiatives
- Proven history of directing M&A infrastructure integrations or comparable large-scale transformation and migration programs
- Authoritative knowledge of enterprise infrastructure across networking, identity and endpoint management, alongside cloud/hybrid and security fundamentals
- Executive presence and the capability to lead through influence across global, cross-functional organizations
- Mastery of program execution disciplines covering planning, governance, RAID management and cutover orchestration
- Exceptional stakeholder communication skills, distilling complex technical topics for C-level and non-technical audiences
- Deep practical experience with TSA planning and execution as well as divestiture separation programs
- Strategic understanding of Zero Trust architectures, modern identity and cloud migration patterns
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher
