Business Analyst with Agile Delivery, Investment Technology Platform
About the Position
We are looking for a Business Analyst to support the Investment Technology Solutions team during EST business hours. You will focus on driving Agile delivery, facilitating Scrum ceremonies, and translating business needs into clear and actionable requirements. The role involves close collaboration with product owners, engineers, QA specialists, and end users to ensure systems and workflows align with business goals in a fast-paced environment.
About the Project
The Investment Technology Platform supports global business operations through a portfolio of interconnected enterprise applications and data systems. The project focuses on improving workflows, enhancing system integrations, and enabling Agile delivery across multiple technology initiatives.
About the Team
You will work as part of a cross-functional Agile team that includes product managers, developers, QA engineers, and business stakeholders. The team collaborates closely through regular ceremonies, shared backlogs, and continuous communication to deliver incremental improvements across multiple applications.
Responsibilities
- Lead and facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, and retrospectives
- Collaborate with product managers and business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements
- Translate requirements into clear user stories and acceptance criteria, and manage backlog prioritization in Jira
- Analyze application functionality, integrations, and dependencies to support impact analysis and solution design
- Develop working knowledge of core platforms such as Salesforce, DealCloud, and Snowflake to support cross-system initiatives
- Support multiple workstreams and project areas by adapting priorities to meet delivery goals
- Track and manage enhancement requests, incidents, and system updates with clear documentation and communication
- Contribute to process improvements and help define best practices for requirements management and Agile execution
Requirements
- Three to five or more years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role within a technology-driven environment
- Experience working with Agile or hybrid Agile delivery models
- Hands-on experience using Jira and Confluence for requirements and backlog management
- Understanding of business applications, systems integration, and data flow concepts
- Ability to translate business needs into structured requirements and user stories
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills for working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic and collaborative environment
- Proactive approach to task ownership and delivery

- Experience working in financial services or investment-related domains
- Exposure to private equity or asset management systems
- Experience supporting enterprise platforms and data-driven applications
