Automation & AI Governance Lead (AIOps)

We are looking for an Automation & AI Governance Lead (AIOps) to drive the modernization of our end-user support platforms through a robust Governance Framework for Automation and Artificial Intelligence. In this role, you will act as the technical authority and people leader for internal engineering teams while coordinating selected technology vendors to deliver scalable, secure, and enterprise-aligned AIOps solutions. You will be responsible for consolidating fragmented automation initiatives into a single, well-documented ecosystem, eliminating technical silos and ensuring every solution adheres to enterprise architecture, security, and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Define, document, and enforce development frameworks and governance standards for Automation Anywhere (including agentic automation) and AI solutions
• Ensure third-party and vendor deliverables comply with established quality, security, and architectural standards
• Act as technical lead and people manager for internal teams, overseeing deliverables, validating architectures, and ensuring SLA compliance
• Develop and implement AI strategies leveraging GenAI tools (Copilot, ChatGPT, AEX) and Azure services to optimize incident resolution and operational efficiency
• Analyze business needs and determine the optimal automation approach (RPA, scripting, AI) for each requirement, preventing tool redundancy and overlap
• Execute Proofs of Concept (PoCs) and provide hands-on technical intervention in medium-to-high complexity initiatives to ensure feasibility and successful delivery
• Audit, consolidate, and centralize fragmented automation efforts into a robust, fully documented ecosystem
• Manage relationships with Outsourcing and Managed Services technology providers, monitoring performance and delivery quality
• Collaborate with global and cross-functional teams to align automation and AI initiatives with enterprise architecture and information security guidelines

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Automation Engineering, Solutions Architecture, or IT Technical Consulting within enterprise environments
• Automation Anywhere advanced developer certification, including agentic automation
• Hands-on experience in vendor management, overseeing Outsourcing and Managed Services technology providers
• Proven organizational leadership skills, including managing direct reports, leading internal teams, and coordinating external partners
• Demonstrated experience implementing and enabling AI solutions (technology-agnostic; no specific stack required)
• Working knowledge of enterprise architecture standards, information security, and technical governance
• Ability to assess business requirements and define the most suitable automation path (RPA, scripting, AI)
• Fluent English with proven communication skills across global and cross-functional teams

Nice to have

• Experience in the finance and/or manufacturing industries
• Hands-on experience with GenAI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or AEX
• Practical knowledge of Microsoft Azure services applied to AIOps or IT operations
• Background in end-user support/service desk modernization programs
• Additional certifications in enterprise architecture, cloud, or IT service management (e.g., TOGAF, Azure, ITIL)
