Tickmill is looking to hire an AI Platform Administrator to join our rapidly expanding team.

About the Role
We are looking for a mid-to-senior AI Platform Administrator to own the day-to-day administration of our enterprise AI tools and to turn AI prototypes into secure, maintainable, production-ready solutions.
You will administer our Enterprise AI tools across the organization, and you will take AI automation prototypes (agents, LLM workflows, integrations) and harden, package and document them so they can run reliably on our cloud platforms. Once a solution is live, you maintain, monitor and improve it.
This role suits an engineer who enjoys making things work properly in production, and who cares about reliability, security, access control and clean documentation.

What does the role look like?

  • Administer our enterprise AI platforms: user and licence management, access policies, security and data-handling settings, usage and cost monitoring, and first-line support for users.
  • Manage LLM provider accounts, API keys, model versions and quotas, and keep prompt and configuration changes versioned and auditable.
  • Review AI prototypes and judge whether they are ready for production.
  • Refactor prototype code into maintainable, tested, documented services, mainly in Python.
  • Make each solution enterprise-ready: authentication and access control, secrets management, error handling, logging and monitoring, rate limiting and cost controls.
  • Containerize solutions (Docker) and prepare for deployment on our cloud platform.
  • Integrate AI solutions securely with internal systems and third-party tools such as CRM, Jira, data warehouses and internal APIs.
  • Monitor solutions in production (performance, accuracy, cost, failures), troubleshoot incidents and roll out fixes and model updates.
  • Set up and maintain evaluation and regression testing so that prompt or model changes don’t quietly break behaviour.
  • Ensure solutions meet our data privacy, security and regulatory requirements, working with Compliance, InfoSec and Data teams.
  • Produce and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, user guides and internal AI usage guidelines.

What do you need to succeed in this role?

  • Experience in software engineering, platform engineering, DevOps or IT systems engineering, with production systems you have maintained yourself.
  • Hands-on experience administering enterprise SaaS or AI platforms (e.g. Claude, Microsoft 365 Copilot, GitHub Copilot or Azure OpenAI), including user, license and policy management.
  • Strong Python skills, plus experience with REST APIs, webhooks and system integrations.
  • Hands-on experience deploying and operating LLM-based applications, such as RAG pipelines, agents, or tool and function calling.
  • Working knowledge of Docker, CI/CD and Kubernetes concepts. You don’t need to run the cluster, but you must deliver workloads that run well on one.
  • Experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure or GCP).
  • A strong grasp of production practices: logging, monitoring, testing, versioning, secrets management and security.
  • Ability to work with both technical and non-technical colleagues, and to push back constructively when something isn’t ready for production.
  • A structured, documentation-minded approach and a high level of ownership.

Will be considered a plus:

  • Experience with AWS Bedrock and Amazon Bedrock AgentCore.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 / Entra ID administration.
  • Experience in FinTech, brokerage, banking or another regulated industry.
  • Experience with agent frameworks (LangChain/LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen or similar) and vector databases.
  • Familiarity with LLM observability and evaluation tools (e.g. Langfuse, LangSmith, Arize).
  • Experience with MCP servers, Claude Code or similar developer AI tooling.
  • Knowledge of workflow automation tools (n8n, Make, Power Automate) and business systems such as Jira and HubSpot.
  • Understanding of data governance, GDPR and AI risk management.
