Accountant

We are looking for an Accountant to join our Accounting team in a dynamic fintech crypto environment. This role involves managing day-to-day accounting activities, ensuring financial accuracy and maintaining accounting entries.    The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and adaptable, with a proactive mindset and a strong interest in process automation  

Responsibilities:

Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, including the preparation of accruals, account reconciliations, and journal entries.

Process and record bank statements, cryptocurrency wallets and merchant accounts n the accounting system.

Review invoices, payment requests, and expense reports.

Record, and reconcile revenue and expenses, ensuring accuracy and completeness of accounting records

Process records of intercompany settlements and perform reconciliation.

Maintain supporting documentation and ensure compliance with internal accounting policies.

Assist with the implementation and optimization of accounting systems and automation tools.

Assist with internal and external audits by compiling supporting documentation and addressing auditor inquiries.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of full-cycle professional Accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles.
• Experience with financial systems and Excel/Google Sheets. 1C is a big plus.
• High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Good written and verbal communication in English.
