We’re creating OneState, a unique mobile Social RolePlay game built in Unity. Our art team is facing ambitious challenges as we develop the project with a realistic approach and high standards for visual quality and technical solutions.
We use modern technologies and tools, continuously refining our pipelines and aiming for the highest level of quality and immersion.
What we want to see:
- Two to three years of experience as a 3D Vehicle Artist
- A portfolio showcasing relevant and up to date work in a realistic art style
- Strong high poly and low poly modeling skills, with a solid understanding of topology, subdivision ready modeling, and animation requirements
- Proficiency with Blender, Substance Painter, and Photoshop
- Experience texturing using UV layouts or directly on models, with a strong understanding of material properties and lighting representation in textures
- Strong knowledge of UV mapping, including texel density management and texture space optimization
- Experience baking texture atlases and maps such as Diffuse, Normal, AO, and others using Blender, Substance Painter, or Marmoset
- Proficiency with Blender shader nodes for material setup and customization
Additionally, it would be great to have:
- Experience rendering 3D models in Blender Cycles, including lighting and material setup
- Experience creating procedural textures and materials using node based workflows
- Basic knowledge of Unity, including working with repositories, assets, prefabs, and other scene components
What you will be doing:
- Creating high poly and low poly vehicle models based on provided concepts
- Modeling and preparing vehicles and other hard surface technical assets
- Creating unique textures using photographic references and hand painted techniques
- Creating UV layouts
- Creating and baking texture atlases and maps
- Working with vertex painting for masking and baking purposes
- Refining and editing existing vehicle models, including optimization and retopology
- Modeling additional customization and tuning components for vehicles
