We are looking for a self-sufficient UI Artist with solid experience in mobile games to strengthen our UI team and help maintain high product quality. We need a hands-on specialist who can independently take tasks from brief to final result, understands UX and game production specifics, and communicates constructively with the team. Experience in casual / hybrid-casual projects will be especially relevant.
What you'll be doing:
- Create game interfaces, icons, and other UI content
- Develop the UX and visual style for new screens and mechanics
- Work with UI systems and components in Figma
- Analyze competitor interfaces and find suitable solutions for the product
- Collaborate with producers, game designers, artists, and developers
- Independently manage your tasks and bring them to a production-ready state
- Participate in UI reviews and exchange feedback with other artists
- Help maintain the project's visual consistency
- Suggest improvements for the UI and team workflows
What we expect from the candidate:
- 3+ years of experience working with game interfaces
- Experience in mobile game development
- Strong portfolio featuring game UI; experience with casual / hybrid-casual games is a plus
- Proficiency in Figma
- Strong understanding of composition, color, typography, visual hierarchy, and basic UX principles
- Ability to design unified UI systems, not just isolated screens
- Independence and the ability to make decisions without micromanagement
- Ability to articulate your design choices and constructively handle feedback
- Understanding of the UI handoff process for development
- Deep visual awareness of modern mobile games
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment with evolving product requirements
Nice to have:
- Experience with Unity UI or close collaboration with Unity developers
- Experience building or evolving design/UI systems
- Motion design / UI animation skills
- Hands-on experience using AI tools in production
- Experience mentoring less experienced UI artists
