SOFTSWISS is looking for a Technical Writer to join our team. In this role you will work on a wide range of user and technical documentation, helping us deliver clear, useful, and well-structured content for internal and external audiences.
- You’ll create and maintain accurate, easy-to-follow documentation to improve the usability and accessibility of our systems for diverse user groups.
- Your work will impact the quality and consistency of technical communication across teams by delivering user-centric content and maintaining up-to-date knowledge bases.
- You’ll support teams across product, development, and QA with clear documentation that bridges the gap between technical complexity and user clarity.
- Create, edit, and maintain procedural documentation including but not limited to user guides, how-tos, and tutorials.
- Create, edit, and maintain technical documentation, including API documentation.
- Create release notes.
- Work closely with writers, developers, product owners, business analysts, QA team, and others.
- Proficiency in English (C1 or higher).
- Russian at B2 level.
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in technical documentation.
- Expertise in fintech domain.
- Docs-as-code experience.
- Proven experience in writing user guides in explanatory and procedural styles for multiple audiences.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Style Guide, Google Style Guide, or similar.
- Experience in API writing, familiarity with API documentation tools.
- Experience with Git.
- Experience working with Cursor, VS Code, or similar dev tools.
- Experience in writing release notes.
- Proficiency with managing Confluence content.
- English not lower than C1 and higher.
- Experience in writing and proofreading of content, especially technology-related content.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Critical thinking.
- Must be a self-motivator who works well independently and in a team environment with little or no direct supervision.
- Ability to influence and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical people.
