We're looking for a Technical Designer (Data) to join our 4X strategy team.
This role owns the design, maintenance, and automation of the data layer behind our game features. You won't be designing the systems or balance yourself — that's owned by the balance team. Your job is making sure the data structures that support those systems are correct, valid, easy to work with, and get into the game fast.

We're looking for a Technical Designer (Data) to join our 4X strategy team.

Responsibilities:
- Design, debug, and optimize data structures for game features (per specs from the balance team).
- Prepare and integrate data into the game.
- Build and maintain the data layer for specific game subsystems.
- Write technical documentation for data structures and pipelines.
- Validate and QA data.
- Automate processes: import/export, checks, tests, prototyping.
Requirements:
- Experience building automation: able to write scripts/tools to automate tasks.
- Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, complex models, automation).
- Understanding of relational databases (SQL).
- Familiarity with version control (Git).
- 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Applies AI systematically in day-to-day work.
- Proficiency in Russian language.
Nice to have:
- Basic programming skills in Python or C#; general programming ability and speed of picking up new stacks matters more than the specific language.
- Experience working on mobile games in the 4X strategy, collectable RPG, or battler genres.
- Personal interest in playing games in the above-mentioned genres.
