System Firmware Engineer (Device)

Project description

We utilize a city's existing fleet and connected mobile devices to collect real-time data for traffic enforcement. Our advanced AI-driven, vision-based technology detects and analyzes traffic violations, assisting cities in achieving Vision Zero goals. Our team operates in Poland and San Francisco.

Responsibilities

• - Working with embedded Linux filesystems - Improve performance analysis infrastructure and tooling - Interface with devices/sensors such as GNSS, IMU and LTE - Supporting device diagnostic and root cause analysis efforts

SKILLS

Must have

• - BS or MS Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field - Strong experience programming in C. - Strong system level Linux knowledge and experience (kernel space, drivers, Linux system structure, platform porting/bringup, embedded systems development) - Scripting in bash and or python - Understanding of CPU, GPU and SOC architectures - Previous experience with I2C,SPI,PCI, MIPI,USB and Serial UART

Nice to have

- Building and debugging Linux kernels - Knowledge and experience with ARM based platforms , STM32 - Experience with CUDA/OpenCL and Video Pipelines - Knowledge of CAN or CAN-FD - System design, implementation and verification of the over-the-air (OTA) updates for OS, application and firmware - Familiarity with board bring up and hardware debugging
