About the project
Andersen is hiring a System Analyst in the EU for a project defining an architecture roadmap and driving large-scale digital banking transformation and platform modernization.
The customer is a financial services organization providing banking products and digital solutions for individual and business clients. The company operates through an established service network and online platforms and is part of a larger international financial group, supporting ongoing development of its services for a broad client base.
The project is focused on defining a structured architecture roadmap for a large-scale digital banking transformation program. It includes target-state architecture, platform modernization, API governance, security, data and analytics, system decoupling, and phased migration of business capabilities to reduce system dependencies and accelerate future digital development.
Responsibilities
- Defining the target Azure API Management architecture and its integration with AKS, Camunda, backend services and on-premises systems.
- Setting up and configure APIM environments, APIs, products, subscriptions, backends, routing, certificates, private connectivity and identity integrations
- Designing and implementing reusable APIM policies
- Establishing API governance standards covering OpenAPI specifications, naming conventions, versioning, API catalogue, ownership, consumer onboarding and deprecation.
- Supporting the end-to-end implementation of Cash Loan APIs, working closely with architects, Camunda, DevOps, Security, integration teams and backend developers.
- Preparing technical documentation, reusable templates and operational runbooks, and providing knowledge transfer to the client’s internal teams.
Requirements
- Experience as a System Analyst for 4+ years.
- Proven experience designing, implementing and operating Azure APIM in enterprise environments.
- Strong knowledge of REST APIs, HTTP/HTTPS, JSON, OpenAPI, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, JWT, certificates and API security.
- Experience configuring APIM policies, products, subscriptions, gateways, networking and access controls.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Bicep or ARM templates.
- Experience implementing APIM deployment pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or an equivalent CI/CD platform.
- Strong knowledge of Azure services, networking, identity, monitoring and Azure Key Vault.
- Experience with Azure Monitor, Application Insights and API troubleshooting.
- Ability to create standards, operational documentation, runbooks and reusable implementation patterns.
- Previous experience leading technical implementation and training or mentoring an internal team.
- Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.
Nice to have
- Experience with AKS, Kubernetes, Helm and APIM self-hosted gateways.
- AWS or hybrid-cloud experience.
- Experience with Ansible, OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana or ELK.
- Familiarity with SonarQube, Snyk, Trivy or Checkmarx.
- Basic experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with Jira and Confluence.
