System Administrator

SoftConstruct is on a search for a new player to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and administer company IT systems, servers, and networks to ensure optimal performance.
- Install, configure, and update operating systems, software, and security patches.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide timely resolutions.
- Manage user accounts, access controls, and IT security policies.
- Ensure data backups, disaster recovery plans, and system redundancy are in place.
- Collaborate with IT teams to improve infrastructure efficiency and scalability.
- Document system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting guidelines.
- Provide technical support and training to employees on system-related matters.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a System Administrator or in a similar IT role.
- Proficiency in managing enterprise IT infrastructure and system configurations.
- Strong understanding of network administration and cybersecurity measures.
- Experience with scripting and automation (PowerShell, Bash, Python) is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud services.
- Experience with network protocols, firewalls, and security best practices.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve system performance issues.
