About the Position
As a Strategic Account Manager, you will play a critical role in developing and nurturing long-term relationships with key clients. Your focus will be on understanding client’s strategic business objectives and translating them into actionable plans that leverage IT systems, products, and services to drive value.
You will serve as the primary point of contact for the account, working collaboratively with internal teams and client stakeholders to ensure successful delivery and expansion of business opportunities. This role requires strategic thinking, strong leadership, and excellent communication and networking skills to manage complex portfolios and achieve impactful business outcomes.

A team of over 100 FTEs, organized into multiple streams.
Responsibilities
- Navigate the client’s organization effectively, building and expanding a strong internal network.
- Translate the client’s business goals and emerging industry trends into actionable new business opportunities.
- Manage, grow, and lead a portfolio of projects aimed at delivering significant business outcomes through the development of new or re‑engineered IT systems, products, and services.
- Create and maintain a comprehensive account management plan.
- Track engagements and project performance against predefined account metrics.
- Oversee the full lifecycle and completion of contracts.
- Identify new leads and opportunities within the account.
- Support pre‑sales activities for identified opportunities.
- Participate in closing new business opportunities.
- Plan resources and develop action plans throughout both the sales cycle and ongoing client engagements.
- Collaborate closely with account management and delivery teams to ensure effective and seamless service engagements.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in the Betting & Gaming industry.
- 5+ years of experience in sales, account management, or consulting.
- 5+ years of experience working in service companies.
- Proven experience managing and supporting complex enterprise clients and programs, demonstrating a strong program and product background.
- Experience managing a portfolio valued between 10–20 million.
- Excellent understanding of the industry environment, including key players, strategies, business models, needs, challenges, and trends.
- Extensive knowledge of the software development life cycle and methodologies.
- Strong understanding of the modern technology landscape and software architecture, including AI.
- Experience working with multinational, distributed teams.
- Entrepreneurial, outgoing, detail‑oriented, and an analytical thinker.
- Willingness and ability to travel to client offices in the UK and EU, and occasionally to the US.
