We are seeking a Solutions Architect to join EPAM's Digital Engagement Practice to help redefine customer experiences at the intersection of content, commerce, data and AI. In this role, you will design scalable architectures for some of the world’s most recognized brands, bringing strategy, design and engineering together to deliver next-generation digital engagement solutions.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with CMOs, CDOs, CTOs and their teams to convert high-level experience goals into pragmatic, scalable architectures
- Define solution strategy for composable digital experience platforms (DXP), headless commerce, API-first frameworks, MACH architectures and omni-modal delivery capabilities
- Craft reference architectures, technical blueprints and narratives to guide client investment decisions
- Adhere to enterprise-grade standards for security, privacy, accessibility and compliance mandates (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, PCI DSS and other industry-specific regulations)
- Provide technical mentorship to delivery teams to ensure architectural integrity throughout projects
- Engage with design, strategy and data science teams to deliver human-centered and technically robust customer experiences
- Act as a technology thought leader embedding AI-native strategies such as generative content operations, intelligent personalization and AI-assisted customer journeys into digital solutions
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in technology roles, including 3+ years as a Solutions Architect delivering complex customer-focused digital platforms (DXPs, commerce systems or marketing tech)
- Expertise with at least one key Digital Experience Platform or commerce system, such as Adobe AEM & Commerce, Sitecore, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, SAP Commerce or a MACH-oriented composable stack (e.g., commercetools, Shopify Hydrogen/Headless, BigCommerce, Fabric, Contentful, Contentstack, Algolia, Constructor)
- Proficient in cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure or GCP, with hands-on experience using microservices, serverless, containerization and API-based solutions (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi, Apigee)
- Understanding of AI and generative AI technologies, covering applications like intelligent personalization, agentic commerce and AI-driven customer engagement journeys
- Competency in security, privacy and compliance standards, particularly for GDPR, CCPA, PCI DSS and regulated industries such as retail, financial services or healthcare
- Demonstrated ability to align technical solutions with business goals and effectively communicate with senior stakeholders
- Familiarity with trends in composable commerce, agentic customer experiences and AI reshaping digital engagement
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher
Nice to have
- Involvement with MACH Alliance initiatives or experience leading migrations from traditional platforms to composable architectures
- Background in CDPs, personalization engines, DAM systems and analytics ecosystems
- Industry experience in financial services, retail or other regulated verticals with unique engagement challenges
- Knowledge of PWA, edge-delivered experiences and advanced composable commerce patterns
