Software Engineer (Java)

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test and maintain Java-based applications while adhering to engineering best practices
- Analyze project requirements, estimate tasks and support technical design decisions
- Collaborate with global teams on technical solutions, code reviews and Confluence documentation
- Troubleshoot system issues, identify root causes and implement effective fixes
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning and retrospectives
- Drive system improvements, code quality and overall performance optimization
Requirements
- Proven experience in software development with a strong foundation in computer science
- Hands-on expertise with Java, Spring, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Git and Maven
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns and data structures
- Experience working with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MSSQL) or NoSQL databases
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and core cloud or CI/CD concepts (Jenkins, Jira)
- Clear communication in English (B2 level or higher)
