Senior UI Engineer
We are seeking a strong Senior UI Developer with good technical expertise, to be responsible for the backend development distributed platform for one of the largest world-leading retailers. You will be working as a key member of this collaborative team with a group of experts recognized around the world. This is an excellent opportunity to play a role as a key contributor in creating the next generation of network-centric distributed and scalable architectures.
Essential functions
- Participate in the design and development of high-performance front-end business application, from requirements analysis and UI/UX designs to production
- Constantly improve software quality (evaluate and incorporate new libraries, tools, and technologies; code reviews; refactoring; testing; etc.)
- Analyze and improve application performance
- Search for simple and robust solutions to complex tasks
- Collaborate with distributed team of developers, QA engineers, analysts
Qualifications
- 5+ years in software development
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Computer Science or a related field
- Solid knowledge of JavaScript, React, and Redux
- Strong UI/UX design skills
- Experience in microservice architecture
- Experience with unit and integration testing
- Ability to proactively identify and solve engineering problems
- Good interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written
