Senior Software Engineer

Essential functions

·      Design, implement, and maintain build systems for multi-platform projects.

·      Develop and maintain Hermetic C++ build systems.

·      Write logic in Python to streamline the C++ development lifecycle.

·      Design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to automate testing and deployment workflows.

·      Leverage Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services for scalable cloud infrastructure and remote execution.

·      Diagnose and resolve build failures, compiler errors, linking issues, and environment-related problems.

·      Optimize build times and resource consumption.

·      Work closely with the team to streamline development workflows and release processes.

Qualifications

·      Master of Science degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or a closely related field.

·      At least ONE (1) year of experience in the job offered or at least ONE (1) year of experience in the following:

1.              Object-oriented languages: C++ & Java

2.              Bash & Python

3.              Asterisk & Asterisk Extension Language

4.              Hands-on experience setting up and managing CI/CD tools, including Docker,     Kubernetes, & Ansible

5.              Design patterns, including reviewing and refactoring other developers code into recognizable patterns

6.              Developing GCP infrastructure as a code
