Cloud Product is a large scale cloud based product designed for enterprise customers. You will work on backend capabilities and product improvements in close collaboration with cross functional stakeholders.
About the Team
You will work in a cross functional product team that includes product managers, designers, developers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders. The team collaborates closely in a distributed and multicultural environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend services using Kotlin, Java, and related technologies
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code
- Create unit tests and participate in integration testing when needed
- Participate in performance testing when needed
- Take part in code reviews
- Contribute to solving complex technical problems with attention to performance, security, and user experience
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to design, implement, and support product features
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in backend development of commercial web applications using Java and or Kotlin
- Recent experience with Kotlin
- Strong understanding of core computer science concepts including data structures, algorithms, and complexity
- Experience designing and working with APIs
- Experience building or supporting distributed and scalable systems
- Hands on experience with Kubernetes, Kafka, Cassandra, or similar tools
- Good understanding of concurrency and multithreading in Java
- Upper Intermediate English or higher
- Ability to work independently in a distributed team
- Ability to communicate effectively in a multicultural environment

- Experience with performance optimization
- Experience contributing to technical design and specifications
