Essential functions
· Design, develop, and maintain user interfaces and backend services for high-traffic eCommerce platforms.
· Lead feature development and performance optimization using JavaScript frameworks such as React, VueJS, and NextJS, Backbone, ExtJS. Architect and implement scalable front-end and API solutions using technologies including TypeScript, Node.js, and Webpack Module Federation.
· Participate in defining API contracts and configuring API gateways.
· Manage project documentation, conduct user story grooming, and estimate development efforts.
· Coordinate across distributed teams and mentor junior engineers.
· Conduct technical interviews and lead onboarding sessions.
· Contribute to internal tooling and automation initiatives.
· Ensure code quality and application performance through modern CI/CD workflows and testing frameworks.
· Work within Agile methodologies and collaborate using tools Jira, Git, Jenkins, and Confluence.

Qualifications
· Master of Science degree in Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a closely related field.
· At least TWO (2) years of experience in the job offered or at least TWO (2) years of experience in the following:
1. Designing, developing, and maintaining user interfaces and backend services for high-traffic eCommerce platforms, following Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) standard
2. Developing single-page applications using Backbone.js with Marionette.js and Handlebars.js templating
3. Building front-end applications using Vue 3 framework with component libraries
4. Building microfrontends using Webpack Module Federation
5. Developing and documenting RESTful APIs using Node.js with OpenAPI/Swagger specifications
6. Building a Single Page Application (SPA) with Sever-Side Rendering (SSR) application architecture from scratch
7. Writing and maintaining unit tests using Jest and Jasmine for frontend applications
