Senior SAP CAP/BTP Developer
We're in search of a Senior SAP BTP/CAP Developer who approaches enterprise service-building with a modern mindset. You'll take full ownership of designing and delivering scalable, event-driven microservices on BTP, connecting core SAP systems to contemporary cloud APIs through CAP, Node.js/Java, and strong security practices
Responsibilities
- Architect and deliver enterprise-grade microservices and extensions built on SAP CAP
- Build high-performing backend systems using Node.js and/or Java
- Design integration pathways linking SAP BTP, core SAP platforms like S/4HANA, and external APIs through OData and REST
- Establish strong cloud security measures, including identity propagation and authorization, leveraging XSUAA and the BTP Destination Service
Requirements
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a comparable field
- At least 3 years of applicable experience
- Direct, hands-on experience constructing enterprise-grade applications with the SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP)
- Strong command of Node.js and/or Java for developing backend microservices
- Background integrating SAP BTP with core SAP systems and outside APIs, covering both REST and OData
- Solid understanding of SAP BTP security practices, including XSUAA-based authentication and destination configuration
- Upper-Intermediate English language competency (B2)
Nice to have
- Certification in SAP BTP, such as SAP Certified Development Associate – SAP Cloud Application Programming Model, viewed as a strong plus
- Background working with SAP Fiori elements and event-driven designs built on SAP Event Mesh
