Senior Ruby Developer
We are seeking a Senior Ruby Developer to join a self-organized Scrum Team supporting the delivery of major enhancements within our Marina Management Software, part of a leading suite of integrated technology solutions powering the self-storage and marine industries.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain web applications with a focus on backend functionality
- Contribute to full-stack development across the Marina Management Software product
- Collaborate within a self-organized Scrum Team to deliver major product enhancements
- Work closely with team members to design and implement scalable solutions
- Ensure code quality, performance and reliability across the application stack
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions and architectural decisions
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders in English
- Support continuous integration and deployment processes
Requirements
- 5-8 years of experience as a developer
- Solid experience developing web applications using Ruby on Rails (Ruby v3.5, Rails 7)
- Background in full-stack work with a focus on backend
- Proficiency in PostgreSQL and React
- Familiarity with GitLab and Jenkins
- Understanding of Scrum processes
- Good self-organization skills and strong communication in English (B2+)
Nice to have
- Understanding of AWS, Kubernetes and containerization (Docker)
