Essential functions
· Perform functional, integration, contract and performance testing for microservice-based platforms.
· Maintain and enhance Java/Spring Boot and Scala automation frameworks covering UI, API and component tests.
· Implement and manage mocks and service virtualization using Testcontainers, Mockito, WireMock and MockServer.
· Automate end-to-end database validation for Oracle, PostgreSQL and DynamoDB.
· Develop and execute Java based Playwright E2E user-journey scenarios.
· Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and integrate automated suites into Jenkins, TeamCity and GitHub Actions.
· Write and maintain Docker images and containers for consistent test environments and implement advanced test data management.
· Distribution and transformation of test data across multiple consumers.
· Act as a technical lead for a team of automation testers.
· Author and maintain comprehensive test documentation.
· Analyze defects and production incidents and collaborate with developers and DevOps to drive timely remediation and continuous quality improvements.

Qualifications
· Master of Science degree in any scientific, mathematic, engineering, or information systems field.
· At least ONE (1) year of experience in the job offered or at least ONE (1) year of experience in the following:
1. Architecting and maintaining modular Java/Spring Boot, Python and Scala test frameworks covering UI, API and component layers.
2. Emulating AWS services via Test Containers for hermetic offline testing.
3. Automating end-to-end database validation for Oracle, PostgreSQL and DynamoDB, including data provisioning, complex query assertions and performance profiling.
4. Implementing resilient HTTP integrations by configuring Feign clients with custom decoders and retry/backoff strategies, and design mock frameworks using Mockito, WireMock and MockServer for component and integration testing.
5. Designing, building and orchestrating CI/CD pipelines from scratch in Jenkins, TeamCity and GitHub Actions
6. Designing and implementing advanced service-virtualization and test-data-management frameworks to enable SDET-driven integration and end-to-end testing across dependent systems
