Senior QA Engineer
About the Position
We are looking for a QA Engineer to support the quality and reliability of an ongoing project. You will test complex systems, validate integrated services, and investigate event driven workflows across an AWS based environment.

You'll join a distributed Agile team dedicated to delivering high-quality solutions for some of the biggest names in the industry. We're looking for someone who is passionate about quality, highly analytical, experienced in testing complex systems, and meticulous when it comes to details.
Responsibilities
- Test REST APIs using Swagger and Postman across GET, POST, PUT, PATCH, and DELETE requests
- Design positive and negative test scenarios covering boundary cases, missing values, null values, empty values, duplicates, and item replacement
- Validate HTTP status codes, headers, query parameters, request bodies, and API responses
- Analyze API errors by reviewing error codes, field paths, data types, and validation details
- Prepare test data for large payloads and build dependencies and relationships between data elements
- Read and interpret logs to investigate events in AWS based systems
- Write SQL queries to inspect and verify data
- Test event driven workflows and integrations between systems
Requirements
- Hands on experience testing REST APIs with Swagger and Postman
- Good understanding of HTTP methods, status codes, headers, query parameters, and JSON request and response bodies
- Strong test design skills covering positive, negative, boundary, and validation testing
- Ability to analyze API errors and understand sequential validation behavior
- Experience preparing complex test data and managing dependencies between related entities
- Working knowledge of SQL
- Familiarity with logs, AWS, events, event driven systems, and integrated services
- Attention to detail and a structured approach to investigating issues.
