Senior Platform Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to build and support reliable internal platforms that equip development teams with self-service capabilities and efficient workflows. You will get the chance to spearhead the integration of AI-powered platform features, including generative AI (GenAI), autonomous agents, and AIOps, fostering innovation and operational excellence.

Your focus will be on developing standardized tooling, frameworks, and smooth integrations to boost developer workflows and platform stability. Responsibilities

• Build and support internal platforms that enable self-service deployment and management of applications
• Create standardized tools, frameworks, and libraries to simplify workflows across teams
• Lead the adoption of AI technologies on the platform (GenAI, AI agents, AIOps) to boost developer productivity and operations
• Connect various development tools and services within the platform ecosystem
• Improve developer experience through documentation, training, and platform support
• Apply strategies to guarantee high availability, reliability, and performance of platforms
• Leverage DORA metrics to evaluate and enhance software delivery and operational processes
• Track emerging technologies to continuously advance platform capabilities
• Partner with development, operations, and security teams for smooth application support
• Offer technical guidance to address platform-related issues and improve system health

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in platform engineering or related roles
• Solid understanding of software development processes, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices
• Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and containerization using Docker and Kubernetes
• Background in infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Bicep and GitOps tools like Flux or ArgoCD
• Familiarity with cloud resource management tools, including Crossplane, Pulumi, and AWS Controllers for Kubernetes
• Expertise in internal developer platforms such as Backstage, Humanitec, or OpsLevel
• Knowledge of high availability, high performance, multi-data center systems, and hybrid cloud environments
• Skills in scripting with Bash, Shell, or Python
• Capability to troubleshoot complex system and application issues
• Proficiency in English communication across speaking, writing, and reading (B2 level or higher)

Nice to have

• Familiarity with native AI cloud services: AWS Bedrock, Google Vertex AI, Azure AI
• Background in designing, building, and operating AI agents and agentic frameworks
• Flexibility to use coding agents such as Claude Code, OpenCode, Cursor, Trae, Antigravity
