Description
We're looking for a Senior Marketing Analyst to build how Muse Group measures marketing: attribution, mix modelling, CRM performance and social, across a portfolio that runs from Ultimate Guitar and MuseScore to Hal Leonard's print, education and distribution business.
This is a role for someone who thinks in models, not just dashboards - someone who can build Marketing Mix Models, architect social analytics pipelines, and bring statistical rigor to complex questions. You will be a part of the Marketing Team and will partner closely with other relevant teams and stakeholders including CRM, Product and Content teams.
What's in it for you
- Full ownership from day one. You build the measurement stack for attribution, social performance and campaign modelling, instead of inheriting someone else's half-finished one.
- Real breadth. B2C (players, learners, creators), B2B (retailers, distributors, publishers) and B2E (teachers, schools, districts). Paid and organic. Online and offline. Two weeks rarely look alike.
- People first, AI fuelled. We use and build with LLMs across the business, and we'll back you to automate your own workflow. The point is that your time goes to the hard questions instead of pulling the same report twice a week.
Key responsibilities
- Build the marketing measurement framework: attribution models, marketing mix models, and the reporting that sits on top
- Build the CRM measurement framework from scratch, across B2B and B2C audiences and several CRM platforms
- Model the revenue impact of online and offline events, a channel we currently can't measure
- Build social analytics from scratch, including how we set targets for social content
- Turn analysis into decisions: where to spend more, where to stop, which hypotheses to test next
- Design and run experiments with the marketing team, from hypothesis through to readout
- Work with engineers and product managers to get the missing data instrumented properly
- Use LLMs to automate the reporting and analysis that shouldn't take human time
Requirements
- 5+ years as a Marketing Analyst, or as an analyst whose primary stakeholder was marketing
- You've built marketing measurement frameworks across multiple products, channels and audiences, not just reported on them
- Hands-on experience with MMM and attribution modelling
- Marketing data and tools: GA4, Google Ads, Meta Business Manager, and at least one major CRM or marketing automation platform (we run HubSpot, Bloomreach and DotDigital)
- SQL, plus Python or R for statistics and visualisation
- Statistics you can defend in a room: A/B testing, hypothesis testing, probability
- Communication that works with business and technical audiences. You'll present to executives regularly.
- Fluent written and spoken English (C1 or higher)
- Social, brand or CRM analytics specifically
- ClickHouse, Airflow, or comparable BI and ETL tooling
Nice To Have
- Working with LLMs day to day, including building agents
- On- and offline event measurement
- Marketing automation
