Senior Linux System Administrator
Hiring a Senior Linux System Administrator to join a small, high-impact technical team maintaining and modernizing a global hybrid infrastructure physical servers, cloud instances, and Kubernetes clusters for an enterprise SaaS platform used by clients worldwide. You'll own infrastructure reliability, security, and performance across a mixed on-prem and multi-cloud environment, working closely with a lean, senior team where your decisions matter.
Essential functions
- Administer and monitor production Linux systems across physical and cloud infrastructure
- Manage and troubleshoot cloud environments (AWS, Oracle Cloud, or GCP)
- Support Docker/Kubernetes-based deployments
- Handle network administration: VPN, DNS, firewalls, routing
- Maintain Apache, PostgreSQL, and Postfix services
- Own security, backup, and disaster recovery procedures
- Automate infrastructure tasks with Bash and configuration management tools (Ansible a plus)
Qualifications
- 7+ years of production Linux administration experience
- Strong RHEL/AlmaLinux background
- Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform
- Practical Docker/Kubernetes experience
- Fluent English and strong remote collaboration skills
- A proactive, structured, calm-under-pressure mindset you're comfortable wearing many hats on a small team
