Senior Legal Counsel – Pakistan
We’re looking for a proactive and experienced Senior Legal Counsel to provide high-quality legal support for our support our operations in Pakistan as well as other jurisdictions ensuring compliance in a complex and fast moving environment. This role involves providing legal advice on a wide range of matters – from commercial contracts and civil law to marketing, fintech, and digital regulation – ensuring compliance and helping build efficient, business-oriented solutions.
- Provide end-to-end legal support for operations
- Advise on wide range of legal matters: civil, commercial, consumer, competition, marketing/advertising, ride-hailing licensing, fintech, and digital law matters, and more.
- Review contracts and policies, and assist in claims resolution.
- Review and approve advertising and promotional activities to ensure their compliance with applicable regulations, support marketing and media campaigns with legal review.
- Monitor upcoming regulations and prepare legal analysis of their impact on the business.
- Ensure compliance with local laws and internal standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on regional and global projects.
- 5 + years of experience as an in-house counsel or in a law firm supporting IT or tech companies.
- Experience in civil, commercial, consumer, and media/advertising law.
- Familiarity with fintech and digital platforms regulation is an advantage.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Proficiency in English (C1–C2 or equivalent); local language proficiency required.
- Experience in international environments is a plus.
