Senior Java Software Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Java Software Engineer to join our team in the FX trading domain, bringing strong design and problem-solving skills to build robust, scalable enterprise systems.

Please note that working from the office in Krakow is required 3 days per week.

Responsibilities

Develop server-side Java applications for FX trading systems
Design and build robust, scalable distributed systems in an enterprise environment
Participate in the entire Software Development Life Cycle, from requirements gathering and design to development, testing, and rollout
Provide Level 3 support for production systems
Improve older code bases and apply modern best practices to new projects
Collaborate independently and within a team to deliver high-quality solutions

Requirements

5+ years of experience in Java server-side development
Proficiency in multi-threaded and asynchronous programming
Experience designing and building scalable distributed systems in enterprise environments
Knowledge of Kafka, Tibco EMS, Spring, and Spring Boot
Understanding of reactive programming paradigms
Familiarity with Linux
Fluent English (B2+)
