Senior Java Core Developer

We are seeking a Senior Java Core Developer to join our FX trading team, responsible for designing robust server-side solutions and driving problem-solving across the full software development lifecycle

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of software design and problem-solving within the FX trading area
• Participate in the entire Software Development Life Cycle including requirements gathering, design, development, testing and rollout
• Deliver Level 3 support and resolve production issues
• Apply modern best practices to new projects while enhancing legacy code bases
• Work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
• Contribute to the ongoing improvement of existing systems and processes

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Java server-side development including multi-threaded programming
• Experience in designing and building robust and scalable distributed systems in an enterprise environment
• Knowledge of messaging and middleware technologies such as Kafka and Tibco EMS
• Knowledge of frameworks including Spring and Spring Boot and reactive programming paradigms
• Familiarity with Cloud/Azure, Docker and DevOps
• Basic skills in Linux
• Fluent English
