Senior Go Platform Engineer

We are looking for Senior/Lead Go Platform Engineers to build the Kubernetes-native platform components — operators, scheduler plugins, and device integration — that enforce topology-aware placement decisions in GKE.

Responsibilities

• Develop a custom Kubernetes Operator for TPU workload orchestration
• Build a custom scheduler plugin integrating the optimization solver's output
• Implement a mock TPU device source for CI/CD testing without physical hardware
• Integrate with Dynamic Resource Allocation (DRA) and Custom Resource Definitions (CRDs)
• Track and de-risk upstream open-source dependency changes (e.g., K8s DRA evolution)

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Golang (primary), plus Python, Rust, or C++
• Deep Kubernetes internals knowledge (operators, controllers, custom schedulers, CRDs)
• Hands-on GCP experience (GKE)
• Experience with container orchestration patterns and API design
• Familiarity with Kubernetes DRA (Dynamic Resource Allocation)

Nice to have

• Contributions to open-source Kubernetes projects
• Experience building mock/simulated hardware device plugins
