Senior General Ledger Accountant – Cyprus
A detail-oriented Senior General Ledger Accountant to manage month-end closing, ensure accurate financial records, and support audits. You will coordinate with accounting service providers, review transactions, and collaborate across departments to maintain compliance with IFRS/US GAAP and local regulations.
- Assist with month-end closing and review monthly management accounts.
- Control and reconcile general ledger accounts.
- Coordinate work with accounting service providers.
- Support statutory group and local financial statement audits.
- Review and approve contracts and invoices for tax and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with internal departments on financial and operational matters.
- Assist the Financial Controller on ad hoc accounting and operational issues.
- ACA/ACCA, CPA, or equivalent qualification with 4+ years of accounting experience.
- Strong understanding of Cyprus accounting and taxation system.
- Excellent knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP.
- Experience with NetSuite (Oracle) preferred.
- Proficient in MS Office and accounting software.
- Fluent English (spoken and written).
- High attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
