Senior Front End Developer (React)
We are looking for a Senior Front-End Platform Engineer to join a Tools Development team working on a platform that supports SRE and DevOps activities for large-scale media and digital services, including application distribution, music, and video streaming products.
The engineer will contribute to the design and development of the platform and its user-facing tools.
Essential functions
- Design and develop user interfaces for an internal SRE and DevOps platform.
- Build and maintain front-end functionality using React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Develop reusable UI components and forms using the libraries and tools adopted by the project.
- Implement and maintain automated UI tests.
- Work with the existing TypeScript/Node.js-based platform and its APIs.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of tools used to support SRE and DevOps activities.
- Work with the project's CI/CD and development tooling.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Strong hands-on experience with React.
- Good knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3, including experience with Sass, Less, JSS, or Styled Components.
- Experience with UI testing using Cypress and TypeScript.
- Experience with at least one additional testing solution such as:
- React Testing Library
- Mocha
- Hobbes
- BrowserStack
- Experience with source control and development platforms such as GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, CircleCI, Jenkins, or Rio.
- Familiarity with relational or NoSQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
- Experience working with UI/design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Photoshop, Miro, or Lucidchart.
- Ability to provide 4 hours of overlap with the PT timezone for candidates based in Turkey.
Would be a plus
- UX/UI skills.
- Experience with Java or Scala.
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL.
- Experience with additional technologies used across the project, including React Query, Redux Toolkit, Zustand, Node.js, Express, Angular, Apollo GraphQL, Material UI, Ant Design, or Tidbits UI.
- Familiarity with AWS services such as Lambda, S3, EC2, IAM, DynamoDB, AppSync, Cognito, API Gateway, and Amplify.
