EPAM·Colombia, Mexico, Brazil·Удалённо·4д. назад

We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our team. As a Financial Analyst for the TCO Agent Platform, you will bridge cloud finance operations, accounting workflows, and agentic AI cost governance. Working directly with the Financial Operations Agent, Commitment Optimization Agent, and FinOps leads, you will manage month-end close processes, validate automated journal entries (JEs), oversee promotional credit amortization, conduct allocation variance analysis, and verify cloud vendor billing rates. You will serve as the human-in-the-loop expert who approves financial treatment outputs, resolves cost attribution exceptions, and enforces SOX-adjacent financial controls.

Responsibilities

  • Review and sign off on draft journal entry batches generated by automated agents, organized by company code, G/L account, and cost center, while investigating flagged exceptions and confirming that JE exports reconcile properly with the accounting system
  • Reconcile raw billing data against cloud provider invoices and apply credit amortization schedules using configured credit-type tables, making sure credit allocations tie out fully to gross credit values with no leftover discrepancies
  • Manage percentage-based, usage-based, and fixed allocation rules spanning more than 40 cost centers, and carry out re-classification instructions to keep operating expenses aligned with project budget lines
  • Collaborate with the Finance team to run quarterly re-forecasts at the org-space level, adjusting per-workload growth models to reflect organic trends and anticipated pipeline project spend
  • Monitor actual cloud expenditure against contractual revenue commitments with providers like AWS and GCP, confirm that billed rates for top SKUs match contracted pricing tiers, and file billing dispute tickets whenever variances exceed acceptable thresholds
  • Validate journal entry outputs and cost center totals line by line, comparing legacy financial reports against the new FOCUS-normalized EDR throughout the dual-system parallel-run transition period

Requirements

  • Bachelor's and Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a closely related discipline
  • A minimum of three years of direct, applicable experience in Financial Analysis, Corporate Accounting, FinOps, or Technology Business Management, preferably gained within a multi-cloud enterprise setting
  • Solid grounding in general ledger accounting, cost center allocation methods, month-end close procedures, credit amortization practices, and SOX or SOX-adjacent compliance standards
  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills enabling effective work with Platform Owners, Accountants, FinOps Leads, and Engineering teams to explain financial variances and conduct driver analysis
  • Familiarity with enterprise programming or scripting languages such as Java or Python is a plus, supporting comprehension of system automation logic and data integration specifications
  • Reasonably strong communication abilities paired with working English proficiency at a B2 level or above

Nice to have

  • Practical exposure to tools such as Jira workflow boards, Slack or Teams for operational coordination, and BI platforms like Looker Core Studio or comparable solutions
  • Intermediate to advanced SQL skills (BigQuery experience preferred) along with proficiency in Excel or other data analysis tools to query cost data, perform reconciliations, and validate financial outputs
  • Working familiarity with public cloud billing frameworks such as GCP Cloud Billing and AWS CUR, commitment-based instruments like CUDs, RIs, and Savings Plans, and cost allocation models including Org-Spaces and Cost Centers
