Senior Fabric Developer with Snowflake
About the Position
We are looking for a Senior Microsoft Fabric Developer with strong data engineering expertise to support a large scale ERP migration and data consolidation initiative. You will help integrate data from a legacy ERP system into Microsoft Fabric, ensure accurate reconciliation between source and target systems, and enable reliable reporting for finance and sales stakeholders. The project focuses on consolidating data from multiple European business entities into a modern data platform. Microsoft Fabric serves as the primary analytics platform while Snowflake remains part of the broader enterprise data landscape, requiring seamless integration between both environments.
About the Project
A global manufacturing organization is consolidating data from its European operations as part of an ERP modernization program. The first phase focuses on migrating data from a legacy ERP platform to Dynamics 365 while establishing trusted reporting and reconciliation processes within Microsoft Fabric.
About the Team
You will work with a distributed team of data engineers, BI specialists, business analysts, and client stakeholders. The team collaborates closely with finance, sales, and ERP experts to ensure data quality, reporting accuracy, and successful delivery of migration milestones.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Microsoft Fabric data solutions using Data Factory, Lakehouse, Warehouse, Notebooks, and OneLake
- Build and optimize data pipelines for ingesting and transforming ERP data
- Integrate Microsoft Fabric with Snowflake and support data exchange between platforms
- Perform data validation and reconciliation activities to ensure consistency between source and target systems
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and data quality expectations
- Develop SQL and Python or PySpark based data processing solutions
- Support ERP migration activities and contribute to data integration strategies
- Monitor data quality and identify discrepancies throughout the migration process
- Document data flows, transformation logic, and reconciliation procedures
- Participate in client meetings and communicate technical progress and findings in English
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering
- Hands on experience with Microsoft Fabric in production environments
- Experience working with Data Factory pipelines, Lakehouse, Warehouse, Notebooks, Spark, and OneLake
- Working knowledge of Snowflake and data movement between Snowflake and other platforms
- Strong SQL skills
- Experience with Python or PySpark
- Experience with ERP data migration or integration projects
- Experience reconciling migrated data against source systems
- Ability to communicate effectively in English during client meetings
- Availability to work hours aligned with the French business day

- Experience with Dynamics 365 data structures
- Experience building Power BI semantic models
- French language skills
- Experience in the manufacturing domain
- Knowledge of large scale enterprise data migration programs
