Senior DevOps Engineer with Azure and Datadog, Cloud Reliability Platform

About the Position

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with strong experience in Azure and Datadog. You will work on improving infrastructure stability, building automation, and strengthening observability across cloud environments.

This project focuses on enhancing cloud infrastructure reliability and observability for large scale platforms. You will work on improving deployment pipelines, strengthening monitoring capabilities, and ensuring stable delivery environments across distributed systems.

About the Team

You will collaborate with cloud engineers, DevOps specialists, and software developers in a cross functional team. The team works in an iterative delivery model with a strong focus on automation, reliability, and knowledge sharing.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain Azure based infrastructure environments
• Develop and optimize CI CD pipelines to support reliable and repeatable deployments
• Configure and enhance Datadog dashboards, monitors, and alerts
• Collaborate with development teams to implement infrastructure automation and cloud best practices
• Improve platform reliability through monitoring, performance tuning, and proactive incident prevention
• Ensure that infrastructure as code practices are consistently applied using tools such as Terraform
• Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing across the team

Requirements

• 9+ years of experience working as a DevOps engineer
• Experience working with Microsoft Azure services in production environments
• Extensive hands on experience with the Datadog observability platform
• Experience with full stack monitoring and distributed tracing
• Experience with log aggregation, application performance monitoring, and infrastructure monitoring
• Experience designing and maintaining synthetic monitoring and alerting strategies
• Hands on experience implementing Datadog Bits AI capabilities
• Proven experience enabling and supporting engineering teams in Datadog adoption
• Experience building and maintaining CI CD pipelines in Azure DevOps
• Hands on experience with Terraform or other infrastructure as code tools
• Experience working with Kubernetes, Docker, and container based deployments
• Experience with scripting languages such as Bash or PowerShell
• Background working in cross functional engineering teams

Nice to Have

• Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service
• Exposure to distributed tracing concepts
• Background in production incident troubleshooting and root cause analysis
